Who is NOLABUNMI?
NOLABUNMI was created in 2020 by Thao Smith, owner and operator of Mr. Bubbles Cafe located at 1441 Canal St. We like to call NOLABUNMI, "the baking side" of Mr. Bubbles. Mr. Bubbles' first location opened in 2011 located in Hong Kong Market and the 2nd location opened in 2016 located in the CBD/Medical District in downtown New Orleans.
What makes NOLABUNMI different?
We baked the first ever pandan and ube king cakes! Our baked goods are made with fresh ingredients and absolutely NO preservatives!

Do you have a physical store?
We own and operate Mr. Bubbles Cafe located at 1441 Canal St. Our menu includes banh mi, boba tea, fruit smoothies, green smoothies, Vietnamese iced coffee and a bunch of more options!
Our BAKED goods however, are only available for preorder!
(Except for some giant double chocolate chip cookies that we bake daily for purchase at the counter).
